Where's the outrage?..Just wait.

That great question by Bob Dole those many years ago, holds up so well these days. He was talking to the outrage-mongers, who somehow always seemed to miss the real outrageous events of that time.

No problems with a quick cut and paste of that question to our post 9/11 world. Just read or watch the news. With few exceptions, September 11, 2001 is now downgraded in rank to a national "tragedy". A day of mourning.

Where was the outrage on 9/11/06? I felt it, and saw it in the blog 'hoods where I hang out; but almost nowhere else.

There is outrage on the way though, a dark cloud on the horizon. Meet the democrats. They're here and they're pissed. The majority of this country will not buy into their plans, no matter how loud they scream and stomp their feet. Said plan to be established when we return them to power, of course. I fear another election day smackdown in November will send the already unhinged right over the edge.

History is already catching up with them also. History will pry their fingers from any tree branch they catch on the way down to the valley of political oblivion. Witness Bill Clinton after the Path to 9/11 movie. Expect alot more to come out in the future about his role/non-role in the defense of this nation. I'd need a whole new post to bring up his doings as Chief Executive, so I won't go there... today. At any rate, my point is that the "coolest" dem out here is nearing meltdown.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.

UPDATE: And try not to laugh too hard.

UPDATE: I realize that The Path to 9/11 was a mere docudrama. Thanks to the internet, real facts are a freight train that cannot be stopped, and that train is coming.

9/11. Not just a wake up call.

Nor was it only a sucker punch with devastating destruction.

It spawned a new breed of Republican. The 9/11 Republicans, of which I'm a card carring member. We were born on a smoking pile of rubble. Our first baby steps where walking away from the fence we had stadled for so long. No more Reagan Democrats. No more Clinton Republicans.

                              9/11 Republicans

That is where this newbe blogger is coming from. That is where this blog is going.
See Ya 'round.
